III Investment Forum Let’s UB!

This call is addressed to established companies that are interested in finding financing for their development. Of the total number of applications submitted, twelve innovative companies will be selected, which will be able to present their project to the investment ecosystem.

– Projects interested in participating in this call can submit their application from April 20 to May 12, 2023 at midnight, through this form. – The project must be in the process of seeking investment in the seed, pre-seed or series A phase. – They have to have at least one MVP or be about to have it. – They must have at least one person dedicated full-time to the startup. – Interested startups have to submit a pitch deck of the project in URL format (and include it in the registration form). – The 12 selected startups have to participate in the III Investment Forum of Let’s UB! and make a 5-minute presentation of your project to investors and key agents of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. – The selected startups have to participate in a 2-day training field, on May 18 and May 22. Attendance on May 18 and 22 is mandatory. – Finally, they have to present their project to the investing agents on May 23, 2023, between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., in the Aula Magna of the Historical Building of the University of Barcelona. Projects will be selected according to the following criteria: – Degree of innovation. – Explicit link with at least one SDG. – Milestones achieved and milestones to be achieved. – Entrepreneurial team.

For established companies that are interested in finding financing for their development. The call is addressed to startups that show an innovative component. The invitation to participate is open to the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem, without necessarily having to have an explicit link with the University of Barcelona.

This activity is part of Let’sUB!, a day of innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Barcelona that is held on May 23 in the Historic Building of the UB. The day is the meeting point between the entrepreneurs of the university and the business ecosystem of Barcelona. It also aims to generate synergies between projects and other agents to make visible the talent of the UB community.
