Participate in the 4YFN – 2024

This initiative, driven by fear StartUB! and the Bosch and Gimpera Foundation, with the support of the Vice-Rectorate for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Transfer, is aimed at facilitating the participation of entrepreneurial projects arising from the university community in the international entrepreneurship and innovation fair of reference 4YFN, which is held annually in Barcelona. The 2024 edition will be held from February 26 to 29, 2024, and participation in this call will allow 16 start-ups and/or spin-offs to be selected to have their own La Hería stand.

In this call, aimed at facilitating the participation in the 4YFN of entrepreneurial projects with social impact arising from the university community – be they start-ups and/or spinoffs – it is aimed at projects constituted with a specific and explicit link with the University of Barcelona.

Entrepreneurial projects arising from the university community that are interested must present their candidacy to enjoy this stand possibility before November 17 at midnight. The conditions, requirements and obligations to be able to participate in this call are the following: – Start-up and/or spin-off established, regardless of the legal form. – Entrepreneurial team made up of at least one member of the UB university community, whether student, alumni, teaching staff and researcher, administration and services staff. – Commitment and full availability to attend and be at the 4YFN stand on the two days indicated (either February 26 and 27, or February 28 and 29), especially at the times that will be indicated appropriately. – Responsibility for sending the required documentation on time. – Be able to prove that you are already billing and that you are immersed in an internationalization process. – Participation in the preparatory and training sessions prior to the event, which will take place at the StartUB! facilities. during the February month. At the time of submitting the candidacy, a declaration of compliance with the requirements must be provided.

The projects that will have the opportunity to be present at 4YFN: • Degree of innovation • Explicit link with a minimum of one SDG • Milestones achieved and milestones to achieve • Previous participation in programs to support entrepreneurial projects at StartUB! and/ the Bosch and Gimpera Foundation

The Project Selection Commission will be made up of staff from the StartUB! team. and the Bosch and Gimpera Foundation. The Selection Commission will ensure gender parity and give a voice to all areas of teaching at the University of Barcelona.
