Sprint Program
4 hours of specialized mentoring
From May 9 to June 1, 2026
The Sprint Program is a personalized support initiative aimed at strengthening and
accelerating the development of projects registered in the following calls:
• Santander X Spain Awards │ University Startup 2026
• Santander X Spain Awards │ University Entrepreneurial Projects 2026
Throughout the Sprint, entrepreneurs will receive 4 hours of specialized mentoring,
distributed according to the needs of each project, with the goal of strengthening their
proposal, improving their presentation, and arriving fully prepared for the final pitch of the
awards.
The program offers the opportunity to work directly with expert professionals in
entrepreneurship, business model, marketing, strategy, technology, and finance.
Who is it for?
The Sprint is exclusively aimed at university projects and startups that have registered in one of the following calls from the University of Barcelona:

Both early-stage projects and more advanced startups can apply, as long as they are
registered in one of the two categories.
Dates
The Sprint Program will take place from May 9 to June 1, 2026.
During this period, each team will be able to organize their mentoring sessions according to
mentor availability and project needs.
Methodology
The Sprint methodology is agile, flexible, and personalized, and includes:
• Assignment of specialized mentors: StartUB! will connect each team with the most
suitable mentor according to the sector and stage of the project.
• 4 hours of personalized mentoring: which can be distributed in one or several
sessions.
• Format: meetings can be either in person at StartUB! or virtual.
• Strategic support: Sessions will focus on key aspects such as the business model,
value proposition, pitch, market validation, commercial strategy, finances, or
investment readiness.
• Final objective: to ensure that each project is fully prepared for the final pitch before
the jury of the Santander X Spain Awards 2026.
