ÀGORA UB: Design the University of the future and represent your faculty
On the occasion of the 575th anniversary of the University of Barcelona, we ask you a key question: what should the UB of the future look like?
ÀGORA UB is an innovation experience where students from all faculties work in teams to solve real university challenges and compete in a final event at the Historic Building.
ÀGORA UB is more than a competition: it is a journey of learning, creativity and impact where you will transform ideas into real proposals to improve the University of Barcelona.
Over several weeks, you will work in teams to identify real problems within the UB, design innovative solutions and validate them with users, following a methodology based on the StartUB! Innovation Toolkit.
The process culminates in a final in-person event where the best teams from each faculty present their proposals to a jury in a dynamic and competitive environment.
Only one team per faculty will reach the final. Will it be yours?
The programme is divided into two phases:
- Phase 1: Training (April – May)
You will work on problem exploration, solution generation, validation with real users and pitch preparation. - Phase 2: The Arena (May 21)
Finalist teams will compete in a gamified experience with live ranking, challenges and final presentations before a jury.
