The International Acceleration Program of the University Entrepreneurship Network (XEU) is designed to help university startups expand globally through practical, strategic, and results-oriented training. Your roadmap to design and implement an effective internationalization plan starts here.

Call open until: September 18, 2025 (11:59 p.m.)
Program dates: September 30 – November 27, 2025 (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Format: Hybrid (online sessions and 2 in-person meetings at StartUB!)
Language: Catalan
Total duration: 40 hours
Objectives
General: Develop the capacities to design and implement an effective internationalization plan.
Specific: Prepare for internationalization; identify opportunities and risks in foreign markets; understand international legal frameworks; design sustainable entry strategies; strengthen communication and intercultural skills.
Target Audience
Startups and spin-offs from universities that are members of the XEU.

Positive revenue stream
Consolidated management team
Growth stage
These criteria ensure that participants can take full advantage of the program and are ready to enter new markets.

Block 1. Fundamentals for Global Expansion (14 h) Introduction to internationalization · Soft skills for international environments (in-person) · Culture and international environments · Models of international expansion.
Block 2. Markets for Global Expansion (6 h) Europe · Latin America and North America · Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Block 3. Operational Preparation and Market Entry (8 h) Market research · Legal and compliance fundamentals · Talent and global teams · Marketing and sales
Block 4. Sustaining International Success (10 h) Financial management for expansion · Public resources and support for startups · Strategic alliances · Risk and crisis management · Performance monitoring and feedback · Project presentations and closing session (in-person)
