The projects Ubra Health, Link3rs, Bluegreen Vision, and Nataly have been selected as the winners of the Santander X Spain Awards – University of Barcelona 2025, following the final event held at StartUB!, the University of Barcelona’s entrepreneurship unit.
Jury’s verdict
The final session brought together five finalists per category, each presenting their projects in a four-minute pitch followed by a three-minute Q&A. The jury, composed of Claudio Cruz (StartUB!), Miquel Amorós (UB Social Council) and Xavier Fabregat (Banco Santander), evaluated the proposals according to five equally weighted criteria: potential impact, scalability, competitive advantage, team structure, and pitch performance.

The winning projects were Ubra Health and Link3rs in the University Entrepreneurial Projects category, and Bluegreen Vision and Nataly in the University Startups category.
The winning teams received a financial award €2,000 for the Entrepreneurial Projects and €4,000 for the Startups. The call, managed through the Santander X platform, is open to teams affiliated with universities that have a partnership with Banco Santander, with at least one member residing in Spain.
With this new edition, the University of Barcelona strengthens its participation in a programme that promotes innovation emerging from the academic environment and fosters the transfer of scientific knowledge to the market.
