Several spin-offs and start-ups from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) have been selected to participate in the BKA Pitch Corner within 4YFN 2026. This participation offers UB’s emerging companies a unique opportunity to give visibility to their projects in front of investors, entrepreneurs and professionals in the sector.
The UB companies that will present their projects in the Pitch Corner sessions are the following: Gate2Brain, CellFlow, Oniria Therapeutics, ColorSensing, Avaru, and Fedder AI.
During the first 3 days of March 2026, UB’s companies will present their projects in the Pitch Corner sessions at the Pitching Point (Hall 8.1).
Spin-offs and start-ups will have 3 minutes to present their project and 2 minutes to answer questions from the audience, allowing participants to receive direct feedback, establish key contacts and explore possible collaborations or investment opportunities.
BKA, an alliance to promote university innovation
The Barcelona Knowledge Alliance (BKA) is a strategic alliance formed by the four public universities of Barcelona —Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya-BarcelonaTech (UPC) and Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF)— with the aim of placing knowledge, research and innovation at the service of social and economic progress.
Within the framework of 4YFN, BKA promotes spaces for visibility and connection between university start-ups, investors and key agents of the technological ecosystem.
