StartUB! Spring 2023

Acceleration of entrepreneur projects

StartUB! Sprint is a program to help students accelerate their entrepreneurial projects, whether they are in the development phase of the idea or if they are newly established. At the end of the program, the groups will present their projects to a jury, which will award a prize of 3,000 € (1st prize) and 1,000 € (2nd prize) to the best.

Goals

Boost innovation and stimulate the entrepreneurial spirit of the university community.

This course is for

– Graduate students (postgraduate, master’s degree, master’s degree or doctoral degree) enrolled at the University of Barcelona or one of its centres affiliated with the course 2022-2023, whose projects have not been finalists (or even prized) in previous editions of StartUB! Sprint. – Recent graduates (postgraduate, master’s degree, master’s degree or doctoral degree) enrolled at the University of Barcelona or in one of its centers enrolled in the 2020-2021 or 2021-2022 course, whose projects have not been finalists (or even prized) in previous editions of StartUB! Sprint. For the application, it will be necessary to accredit having followed at least one of the training programs in entrepreneurship that are detailed below and that promote StartUB!. Exceptionally, participation in some other existing entrepreneurship program, such as optional business creation subjects, support programs from other entities, etc., can be assessed. Methodology

Accompaniment, training and group dynamics throughout 10 sessions with mentors during a semester. They will be carried out in person / online (to be agreed with the students).
