How to Become an Entrepreneurial Person

For people without previous knowledge in entrepreneurship

“How to Become an Entrepreneurial Person” is an open course to all the UB community interested in a first approach with entrepreneurship. This edition is specially addressed to students from the TRUE community: Universitat de Barcelona, University of Montpellier, Universidad de Extremadura and Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde de Lisboa.

Program description:

The course seeks that the participants know what entrepreneurship is beyond the traditional definition: what is the entrepreneurial mentality and, especially, what are entrepreneurial skills. This course is developed based on the EntreComp competence framework defined by the European Union. The EntreComp competencies that frame the learning competencies to be developed throughout life.

• Session 1: Team building dynamics. The importance of entrepreneurial skills • Session 2: Self-knowledge and self-efficacy • Session 3: Uncertainty management and decision making • Session 4: Teamwork • Session 5: Negotiation • Session 6: Design Thinking and its application for problem solving • Session 7: Creativity • Session 8: How to communicate. storytelling

Methodology and schedule:

Online course. October 18, 19, 20, 24 and 26, November 2, 3, and 7. Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
