From Science to the Market

From Science to the Market is the free program for the transfer and promotion of scientific entrepreneurship promoted by the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Girona. This initiative is subsidized by the Department of Business and Labor and co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus.

The From Science to Market program aims to provide university doctors and doctoral students with the tools to explore the possibility of creating a company derived from research.

The From Science to Market program offers 100 hours of intensive training on knowledge transfer and business creation, in addition to hours of individual tutoring and access to the services available to the technology transfer units of universities.

The From Science to Market program is developed in person in sessions from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from September 30 to December 4 at StartUB!.

The From Science to Market program is aimed at the university community interested in science and entrepreneurship.

1st call: – Registration: from June 4 to June 20 – Interviews: June 25 to 28 – Results: July 4th to 5th 2nd call – Registration: from June 21 to July 21 – Interviews: from July 23 to 26 – Results: July 30 to 31 3rd call – Registration: from July 22 to September 4 – Interviews: from September 9 to 12 – Results: September 16 to 17 *Limited places. Places will be assigned in each call. Once all available places have been assigned, we reserve the right to complete the application process.
