On Monday, September 4th, the CREACT4MED Summer School 2023 kicked off, and it will run until September 8th. This intensive week-long program encompasses a wide range of training sessions, workshops, and panel discussions focusing on crucial business and creative skills, including Storytelling for Technology, Digital Marketing, and Entrepreneurial Funding. These activities are tailored to benefit the 24 funded projects carefully selected under the CREACT4MED grant scheme.
Throughout the summer school, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to receive personalized advice, as they will be matched with experts from various fields. These sessions will empower entrepreneurs to strengthen their business plans through one-on-one interactions, thus driving the growth of their ventures in the Mediterranean region.
Within this dynamic week, we want to emphasize the Dialogue Session and Workshop of the European Union with the Southern Neighborhood Countries, which centers on the Identification and Resolution of Challenges in the Cultural and Creative Industries. This event is specifically designed for CREACT4MED grant recipients and participants from Spain’s cultural and creative industries. The workshop aims to foster networking, collaboration, and innovative problem-solving among participants, underscoring the potential of co-creation. In addition to the Dialogue and Workshop, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to engage in various networking sessions and B2B meetings, including the Regional Alumni Network Event.
The CREACT4MED Summer School 2023 is an initiative of CREACT4MED, a project funded by the European Union with the goal of promoting entrepreneurship and job creation for young people and women through the cultural and creative industries in the southern neighborhood of the European Union. This initiative is jointly organized by the Association of Euro-Mediterranean Economists (EMEA), StartUB!, and the UB Business School, with valuable support from the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMED) and the Institute for Business Development (IED).
